The Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems Fellowships are for recent grads in the STEM fields, for grad students in the STEM fields, for MBA students, and for marketing grads. This is a great program for students who want a year or two off before grad school, or who want to go into sustainable energy systems work.
The HORIZONS scholarship is for women who have demonstrated interest in a career in national security or defense. The following majors are preferred: security studies, military history, government relations, engineering, computer science, cyber security, physics, mathematics, business (as it relates to national security or defense), law (as it relates to national security or defense), international relations, political science, and economics
“Scholarships of $2,000 each will be awarded to ROTC students majoring in the following or C4I-related fields of electrical, computer, chemical, systems or aerospace engineering; electronics; computer science; physics; mathematics; science or mathematics education; technology management; foreign languages; global security & intelligence studies; security & intelligence; or international studies at accredited degree-granting four-year colleges or universities in the United States. Majors directly related to the support of U.S. national security enterprises (to include other technical majors) with relevance to the mission of AFCEA will also be eligible. Candidates must be at least second-year college students, enrolled full time as sophomores or juniors at the time of application.”
The Google Anita Borg Scholarship is for current juniors/ rising female seniors who are studying computer engineering or computer science or a related technical field. Winners must maintain a GPA of at least 3.5 or above.
The deadline for this award is generally in February of each year.

General Mills and UNCF have partnered to offer the General Mills Technology Scholars Award which provides a $5,000 scholarship for the 2012-2013 academic year. Students will be selected based on academic performance, career aspirations, demonstrated leadership, and achievement. Applicants will be notified by June on their status.
