To provide financial assistance to undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing bachelor level degrees related to business management, information systems management, marketing, finance, accounting, human resource management, and entrepreneurship.
- Award Type: $1,000 Annual Scholarship
- Duration: 1 year; recipients may reapply for one additional year.
- Number of Awards: At least one each year.
- Deadline: April 1st, 2014
The Government Finance Officers Association awards this scholarship to a minority junior, senior, or grad student of public administration, financing, accounting, political science, economics, or business, who intend to work for the government.
The Mass Mutual Scholars Program is for minority students intending on pursuing careers in the insurance and financial services industries.

Sophomores, juniors and seniors who are enrolled in UNCF Schools and any other Historically Black Colleges and University are eligible to participate in an 8 week paid summer internship at an Oracle location in either Redwood Shores, California or Reston, Virginia. Students are assigned summer projects in the areas of accounting, business, marketing, computer science, engineering, finance, MIS, information systems, software development and human resources. Upon successful completion of the internship, students are eligible to receive a $10,000 need-based scholarship.
