“HENAAC scholarship recipients continue to pave the way for future generations of Hispanics and lead by example to empower our communities and enhance our nation’s professional technical workforce. Since its inception thirteen years ago the HENAAC Scholars Program has experienced tremendous growth. In 2008, through the generous support of our program sponsors, we passed the $1M amount in scholarship awarded. To date we have awarded over $1,700,000 in educational grants to 874 exceptional STEM students.

“College STEM Majors — $2,000 Scholarship. Hispanic college students from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, U.S. territories and Puerto Rico pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field major are invited to apply for a $2,000 one-time scholarship of which 25 will be awarded in the Spring of 2013.
Students interested in applying to the Alliance/Merck Ciencia (Science) Hispanic Scholars Program must apply online and all required materials must be received by the deadline date.”

From the HSF Website: The HSF/ McNamara Family Foundation Creative Arts Project Grant is designed to provide financial resources to outstanding Latino undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a creative arts related field: media, film, performing arts, communications, writing, etc. This grant is only intended to assist students in beginning and completing an art project. Students may be potentially eligible for grants up to $15,000.
