The CIA Undergraduate Scholarship Program was designed for minority and disabled students though it is open to all students, and it provides students with a scholarship as well as with a paid summer internship and a benefits package. Recipients must agree to work for the CIA for 1.5 times the length for which they received funding.
The deadline for Spring 2013 is October 2, but you will need to be working with the Office of International Programs in advance of this.
The Gilman Scholarship provides study abroad awards to students who are recieving the Pell Grant. Students may use this award for any country except Cuba and countries that are on the US Department of State’s current Travel Warning List.
There are several application periods throughout the year. Students should apply for the award in the semester before they plan to study abroad. There are a limited number of summer scholarships available.
Scholarships are only available for programs that are at least 4 weeks long.
The campus priority deadline for the program is Sept. 30, and the final deadline is Oct. 4.
